GIANT CELL ARTERITIS TEMPORAL ARTERITIS
Giant cell /temporal arteritis - the most common of the vasculitides. It is a granulomatous inflammation of arteries of large to small size. It affects principally the arteries in the head-especially the temporal arteries but also the vertebral and ophthalmic arteries. Also affection of aorta leads to giant cell aortitis
Pathology : Giant cells present in the wall the involved artery. Thrombus found in lumen of the artery – which is composed of a granulomatous infiltrate. Association with HLA – DR antigen and presence of clonal T cells at multiple affected sites.
Clinical Features :
Occurs in older population, at least 50 yrs old.
Patient presents with headache and temporal pain. Visual symptoms are common, and blindness is a complication in 50% of cases.
Temporal Artery will feel firm and nodular. Pain on palpation of artery is common finding.
Treatment: responds well to steroids.

Ancient Iroquois Giant Skeletons Discovered in New York

Much discussion has been provoked of late in the Central New York papers over the finding at Branchport, Yates Co., N.Y., on the banks of Keuka lake, of the alleged skeleton of the mother of Red Jacket, the famous Indian orator of the Six Nations.
This discussion has brought to light many interesting facts regarding the finding of huge skeletons in the Seneca territory. The skeleton above mentioned, was extraordinary in size and that coupled with the fact that the mother of Red Jacket was a woman of huge proportions, is the only theory on which these allegations are based. The fact that the skeleton was gigantic in size is the only indication of identity and is a very meager point on which to base so important a conclusion. In the language of Irving W, Coates, of Shortsville, N. Y., a well known Antiquarian:
"So far as my study and observation in regard to local Indian history extends, the finding of such an Indian skeleton, either male or female, as the one exhumed at Branchport, is no strange or unusual occurrence. On lot 98 in the town of Manchester, Ontario county, N.Y., several years ago, skeletons were dug up nearly seven feet in height, and on the old turnpike road leading from Geneva to Canandaigua, skeletons of very large dimensions have been exhumed. But two or three years since, the skeleton of a gigantic Seneca warrior was exhumed in the old burial ground of Onnaghee in the town of Hopewell, Ontario county, that was, according to the measurements taken by observers on the spot, nearly seven feet in height and proportioned accordingly, and the weapons which were discovered with the remains proved them to have been those of a person of great physical strength.
These weapons, which are immense implements of primitive warfare, are at present in the possession of Mr. Case of Hopewell, N. Y., a local antiquarian." Near Geneva, N.Y., a number of years ago, while some workmen were grading and excavating, large quantities of Indian bones and skulls were taken out, many of which were in an excellent state of preservation. Most of those appeared to have belonged to adults of a large-sized tribe and in one of two instances, were of extraordinary size. At Dresden, N.Y., in Yates county, twenty years ago, workmen employed in a brickyard unearthed hundreds of skeletons, together with their implements of warfare, some of the skeletons being unusually large and one noticeably so. A local physicians, on viewing it, pronounced it to be that of a man. From what information we can gather, the Senecas in particular, in point of physical form, strength and beauty were the flower of the nations that went to make up the great Iroquois confederacy.

Description of a large skeleton at the Cresap Mound
" Measurements taken of the skeleton while still i the grave indicated an individual approximately 7.2 inches tall....In all respects the Cresap Mound skeletal material conforms to the physical type of the Kentucky and Ohio Adena....

It was a 19-foot high conical mound with a 70-foot diameter. The remainder of this unusual skeleton was completely preserved and lying on its back with its legs bowed as if it was riding a horse. This particular skeleton, labeled B.54 in Pit F.28 in the above drawing made by Dragoo, was large. Dragoo reported, “This individual was of large proportions. When measured in the tomb his length was approximately 7.04 feet. All of the long bones were heavy and possessed marked eminences for the attachment of muscles.” Dragoo published a photo of the actual skeleton, however, i it is now illegal to republish photos of skeletons known to have links to Native Americans, even though no links to the Adena and any known Indian population has been proven.

A large skeleton over 7 feet in height was removed from the Cresap mound, but new laws against displaying "Native American" remains, helps American Indians and academia to restrict the true origins of the Adena from being proven.
Current laws would warrant that even if you have a photo of a giant human skeleton, it is illegal to publish it!

GIANT NEPHILIM SKELETONS FOUND
Anderson, Ind., Nov. 36.—John Beal, a farmer living in the north part of this county, found some giant human skeletons while digging a hole in his field Friday. There were a half dozen skulls of gigantic size. The skeletons were those of men who in their lifetime must have been at least 9 feet in height. .
